- 1954 – Marilyn Monroe marries the baseball star for the New York Yankee’s, Joe DiMaggio.
- 1976 – The Bionic Woman with Lindsay Wagner debuts on ABC, it later appeared on later NBC.

- 1948 – Carl Weathers – was born in New Orleans and became an actor he played Apollo Creed in Rocky and also Lando Calrissian in Star Wars.
- 1968 – LL Cool J – born as James Todd Smith, was born in St Albans, New York, he became a well know rap artist.
